About Me
I am trained in dynamic psychotherapy. My training includes: a Master’s degree from University of Toronto in Applied Psychology, a 3 year core training program in Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, and am now completing advanced training in the same model. Prior to working in private practice, I worked as an educator on multi-disciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient programs at Lakeridge Health and Ontario Shores for adolescents and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders and other mental health difficulties.
I work with clients from adolescence to adulthood whose presenting problems typically include depression, anxiety, challenges with emotional closeness, grief and loss, and somatic symptoms.
